Jinsei Life coaching for teenagers

Help your child build a life that’s actually theirs.

Jinsei is six sessions of life coaching for teenagers. Your child looks honestly at where their time and energy go, imagines more than one future, and tests the most promising one before committing to it.

Is this your child?

Sound familiar?

If you’ve thought any of these about your child, Jinsei was built for them.

  • They’re doing everything right, and none of it seems to excite them.
  • Ask what they want to do and you get a shrug.
  • They’re busy all week and exhausted by Sunday.
  • They’re heading down a path mostly because it’s the expected one.
  • You can’t tell whether they’re following their friends, or following you.

What changes

What we work on together

The shifts Jinsei is built around, described the way you would notice them at home.

  • “I don’t know what I want”Three possible futures, each thought through
  • Activities chosen for how they lookActivities chosen because they fit
  • “I just don’t feel like it”Three weeks of their own data that shows why
  • Big decisions that feel permanentSmall experiments before big commitments

How it works

Six sessions, from honest look to real plan.

Between sessions

For three weeks your child keeps a short daily log of what they did and how it felt: what gave them energy, what drained it, when they lost track of time. By the end they have evidence about themselves, not guesses.

  1. 01

    Wake up

An honest look at where things stand today, and the start of three weeks tracking what gives them energy.

  2. 02

    Debug

Finding the beliefs about success they absorbed from others, and deciding which ones to keep.

  3. 03

    Dream

Sketching three very different versions of the next five years, in detail.

  4. 04

    Anchor

Asking “why?” five times, until they reach what actually matters to them.

  5. 05

    Prototype

Turning the most promising path into a 30-day experiment they can start now.

  6. 06

    Compose

Assembling the Jinsei Book, and committing to it out loud.

What they keep

The Jinsei Book

Your child’s plan for the next stage of life across eight areas, written in their own words and backed by their own data. It turns “what do you want to do?” into a conversation the two of you can actually have.

  • Energy map

Three weeks of what energised and drained them, sorted into patterns.

  • Beliefs, reframed

The expectations they inherited, and the ones they chose to keep.

  • Three futures

Three different five-year plans, each sketched and compared.

  • Their why

The reason underneath, found by asking why until it stops changing.

  • 30-day experiment

One path, tested cheaply in real life before any big decision.

  • Eight-area vision

What a good life looks like to them, area by area.

Your child’s mentor

Who works with your child

One mentor, from the first session to the last. They get to know how your child thinks, so each session picks up where the last one left off.

For the curious

The thinking behind Jinsei

Eight areas of life, adapted from adult life-design frameworks for this stage. For each one, your child works through the same four questions: what do I believe, what do I want, why does it matter, and what will I try?
